Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha - Laughing to Feel Good
Published February 2nd, 2008 in Affirmations, Health, Life, New Thought, Peace, Positive Thinking, Positive Vibration, Relationship, Self ImageWe got our monthly DVD from the Spiritual Cinema Circle. On it was a documentary about the Laughing Clubs started by Dr. Madan Kataria, India. These have been going on for over 10 years and have spread all over the world. (Find one near you http://www.laughteryoga.org/). Sounds like good fun, and yes it is silly, it is supposed to be - to make you laugh. Check out this Laughter Conference:
Dr. Kataria’s intentions were of course sickness prevention. But the healing benefits of laughing often can be astonishing, as you can here near the end of this video:
Have you had any expereince with Laughing clubs, or any experience from the good effects of a good hearty laugh? Tell me about it, I’d love to hear.

heh. we have our own laughing club. It’s not official it’s just the way we live. If we’re not tellin jokes and cracking each other up then someone around here must be sick or something. I guess I kind of got it from the people I grew up with. Always joking around and making fun of everything. It helps to keep you young.
BTW Jim I left a reply to your comments on http://strangeandcool.net See ya later
Thats the way to do it, Bill. We at home have always had a fun sense of humour, and I believe that has kept us young. We don’t have a laughing club ourselves, this was a new idea for me to see this DVD. But I was always for a good laugh - seeing life from the lighter side.
